The purpose of the Tutorial Guide is to allow external and internal users the ability to understand what TXU expects INBOUND and sends OUTBOUND to Market Participants. The Tutorial was developed for Market Participants to easily comprehend what each transaction is trying to accomplish. The audience for the EDI Tutorial:

• Business Analyst - Enrollment, Billing, Remittance, Metering
• EDI Analyst / Mapper

• Rep Relation Departments

Note:
Also included are best practices for GISB and EDI file enveloping. The purpose of the best practices is to recommend standards for enveloping and EDI Control Headers between TXU and Market Participants.
