Oncor Electric Delivery
Oncor Electric Delivery provides power to over 3 million electric delivery points. Subject to governmental regulation, we offer access to one of the largest energy infrastructures in the U.S. -- over 14,000 miles of electrical transmission lines and some 100,000 miles of distribution lines. Oncor Electric Delivery employees are responsible for maintaining and upgrading this infrastructure, which is crucial to the economic well-being of our communities. Oncor Electric Delivery is charged with ensuring that the frequency and duration of electrical outages - whether due to storms, accidents or equipment malfunctions - meet or exceed industry standards. We also strive to provide superior service to our electricity customers through a continual investment in new equipment, rebuilding and upgrades to our transmission and distribution system.
