2004 Corporate Citizen Report
COMMUNITIES: A Culture of Caring
While TXU employees interact with customers and communities on business issues every day, the company’s
community involvement is exceptional because of the investment in people and local economies. Whether
it is donating time and money to volunteer efforts and community events, helping people in temporary need
pay their energy bills, educating consumers about energy efficiency or investing in economic development,
we are proud to be part of the fabric of our communities. Our commitment to making Texas communities
better places to live and work is captured in the many ways we help others.

TXU gives back to the communities it serves to make them better places
to live and work.
